That's a much more common mistake than you probably think. =P

It's about as common as the "your password and username can only have lower-case letters" though if you didn't read this before making an in game acc and are about to post, try your username/pass without the capital letters!

Re: Installation, troubleshooting and FAQs to get you online
I just wanted to post another little bit of info that might help people who were a bit stupid like I was when trying to sign up. I found all the downloads and everything, but I could not find the actual registration page to create my in-game account. After searching and searching, i found a post from Modoru that directly linked to the registration page here. Your installation guide was VERY informative and helpful (the pictures really do help the slow ones...i blame my slowness on the lack of sleep i had prior to trying to install) and I was able to correctly install and everything. I was just thinking maybe an edit to add to the "how to" process so no step goes unnoticed. Yeah it sucks that it sounds like a handholding process, but if someone STILL can't log in after a direct link to in-game register, and your direct links to file downloads and installation, then there really is no hope for them lol. Again, everything was fine except that one part. I know I must have overlooked it. But if someone comes looking for a "how to" and finds your guide, I just thought that last piece of the process may help other 'tards like me

I'd edited it too, since Khandria's internet browser was pooping itself into anorexia.

PSO is not a virus, but is commonly misreported as one. As to your computer restarting I've got no idea!

Re: Installation, troubleshooting and FAQs to get you online
Try the following.
Add PSO to your trusted applications in your AV.
Update DirectX Update Display drivers
run Option.exe and set to windowed mode. Launch online.exe to start the game.
