Raptr is probably not present and not a problem because it's part of the AMD graphics card drivers. If someone has Nvidia or Intel HD (which is what he has) then Raptr won't be present. I know this because I have two 290s and run the latest AMD drivers. (And I always uncheck Raptr when updating my drivers, so it doesn't get installed.)

First things first, disable your antivirus OR make an exception to keep the game exes from being quarantined by AV. You may want to redownload the client, OR check your AV quarantine to see if any of the files from the game install disappeared. Restore them.

Second, make absolutely sure your graphics driver is installed correctly. This should be for the Intel HD Graphics 5500.

Third, and this MIGHT fix your problem, you should go download this and install it: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... %3Fid%3D35

That's the DirectX web setup, it will install all DirectX DLLs back to Windows XP in 2002, old games need these to run. These are usually NOT included by default with a new install of newer Windows OS. They may not be present. PSO Blue Burst uses DirectX 8 to run, I believe, which is old and unsupported and used by no new games nowadays.

Fourth, you can try setting PSO to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP. Go into the PSO folder, right-click on PSOBB.exe, go to properties, go to the compatibility tab, and check "run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP". Also, check "run as administrator" at the bottom if it's there.

Try those things and see if it helps. Unfortunately, all the stuff you posted (about your computer) might not help anyone, it's basically gobbledegook unless you're a Microsoft programmer. So instead try these fixes and see if it makes a difference. :)

If you can't get the DirectX dlls to install, I'm not sure what to suggest.

I play on Windows 7 and it works perfectly fine, and this is one reason I won't move to anything newer.

Sorry =/

Do you have two graphic options on your computer? Like dedicated and integrated?
