Re: Ashe's "I QUIT!!!" Giveaway! I think there should be a way to make sure people don't get stuff they don't want. It would be easy to do if you made it a raffle or something but it really depends on what you decide to do. For Hide and Seek... maybe a limit to how many of them you can enter or something. Not sure how you're doing this.

Re: Ashe's "I QUIT!!!" Giveaway! I was about to say... Although this is not my gig and I'm not taking a part in running it beyond doing a GTP or two, I personally think wanting to earmark specific items from the list completely goes against the point of this little event.
He's leaving and giving you stuff for free.
You might be a fairly well-equipped player that only wants a couple of things but the only way to make it fair is to have a game where newbies are as likely to win as the mainstay players.
I may be entirely wrong and perhaps he is letting reserve items individually, but that's not the gist I got!

Re: Ashe's "I QUIT!!!" Giveaway! I am taking no reservations. Each item will be given out randomly along with each giveaway. Some of the lower tier items will be bundled up with others to make it worth it.
Random number generator will work pretty well. Also thinking of a Rock Paper, scissors tournament.

If you're not sure how it was done on the japanese server: each drop an amount of meseta between 1 and 3. then to decide the winner: 1>2>3>1

maybe give a player a specific random quest based off their ID and have them find an item, and thus earn a random prize?
I dunno trying to think of ideas here. Ill let you know if I think of anything, this idea I'm only sharing as a way to make it possible for newer players as well.
