Mecha Hisui had those weapons? I clearly haven't played enough Melty Blood? Which version is that? Actress Again? Cadenza? Hell, so many I am kinda clueless about what versions even exist.

While we're at it, a Seventh Scripture skin for some launcher would be awesome.
BTW, are all those MB versions just about gameplay or do they also have a different story? And does it get better after the original MB or does it stay so boring and Shion-centric?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melty_Blood

Melty Blood original and Melty Blood ReAct/Final Tuned are the only ones with a visual novel styled story mode. Final Tuned being the one you want for story. The Cadenza, Actress Again, and Current Code all get new characters and has an arcade mode with not so much a story, but dialogue that could give you a few good hints, but that's if you're good enough to read Japanese. Act Cadenza, aside from ReAct, is the only version with fully translated texts.

Yeah, Melty Blood has a batshit load of different versions, but from Original to Final Tuned, these were merely doujin games you'd get from Comiket or something. It wasn't until Act Cadenza that it became popular enough to have Ecole Software help with the overall balance and feel of the game and to be published by SEGA when becoming an official game. (I believe the game was published by SEGA purely because of these weapon references. I guess the makers liked PSO or something. It's also nice to note that one of the stages in Actress Again has a Sega Dreamcast in the background) And then Actress Again came out which was a huge improvement on pretty much everything which also added a fuckload of more content. Even some of the music sounds very SEGA. Take this song for example. Don't you just swear it was from that one Sonic game you played before? But sadly for Actress Again, it only got an arcade and console release, so there was no way to netplay. Then Current Code came out for the arcades for a while then we all started praying for PC version with netplay and boom, 1.07 came out and it was for PC, with new balance touches and three new characters, Powerd Ciel (too cool for spelling) Archetype Earth (Arcueid in her princess form thanks to TATARI) and Seifuku Akiha (I don't get it, but she plays completely different from the other Akiha's) all with their own three moon styles. So there you have it, Meruti Buraddo.

The ones I have in the screenshots are from the latest PC version, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code 1.07.
